Once again, after painting 2 miniatures last week (and as such, I am currently one mini ahead of myself), I thought I would spend this week making a few more pieces of scatter terrain...
The gravestones themselves I purchased from Hurlbat's ebay store, and are cut from 2mm thick mdf.
You actually get 30 in the pack (complete with individual bases - as shown above), but I've opted to base most of mine in strips of 5 - using 6" long tongue depressors as the base...
...which I then built up with some cheap (£1) ready mixed wall filler (to cover the little 'tab' where it would normally fit into one of the bases)...
...and gave them a quick paint job.
And, as you can see, I think they've turned out rather nice :)
Last year me and my daughters make a Halloween scene. I like your gravestone basing idea.
